Rolling Hills Community Church Rebrand
The Brief
Rolling Hills Community Church has grown from a single-campus church to a multi-location ministry with a diverse and expanding congregation. Their visual identity needed to:
Reflect a modern, welcoming, and unified brand across campuses.
Maintain spiritual integrity while appealing to younger and tech-savvy audiences.
Support expansion into digital ministry, social media, and online experiences.
The previous brand was becoming outdated and lacked consistency across touchpoints—from signage and social media to livestream platforms and printed materials.
Creative Direction
The redesigned logo features a minimalist, lowercase “rh” monogram encased in a circle. This symbolizes unity and wholeness in Christ and reflects the church’s initials.
Refined palette: Offers contrast and clarity while retaining the church’s classic purple color in a more modern tone.
Clean typography: The combination of a bold sans-serif for "ROLLING HILLS" and a lighter font for "COMMUNITY CHURCH" enhances readability and hierarchy.
Flexible formats: The logo works seamlessly on light and dark backgrounds (shown in purple and ivory variations), ideal for diverse applications—from digital to print.
Outcome
The rebranding of Rolling Hills Community Church achieved far more than an aesthetic refresh. It redefined the church’s identity for a new era—one grounded in faith, united in purpose, and ready to reach the next generation. The brand now scales better across all campuses and online platforms, creating a unified church family experience.
